December 15, 2011… Here’s an update on what is happening at InternetBizGuy.com and with me personally and professionally. Those who know me well know that I am passionate about business development. I spent nearly 3o years in the industrial process control world as a business owner/entrepreneur and built a company called Flowdata (patented flowmeters). After 16 years I sold Flowdata to Roper Industries, a $3 Billion public company, and merged it with one of their holding companies, Flow Technology, in Phoenix, AZ.
Roper recently approached me to come back into the fold and run one of their other operating companies, USON, in Houston, TX as the new president. USON is a great company with a rich history of being a market leader in their field of highly engineered leak detection instruments for the automotive, medical, and industrial markets. USON has many similarities to my company Flowdata and is a perfect fit for my background, experience, and skills.
I will use many of my internet marketing skills in my new venture. It will be exciting to see how I can bring cutting edge internet marketing practices into this B2B world. I hope to bring back some news, ideas, and results here at InternetBizGuy to share with you on how new online strategies can be used in the real world of business-to-business. Should be fun!
